Initial Award Abstract
SRNT's 2013 Annual Meeting, March 13 - 16, 2013, in Boston, MA, saw a record attendance of 1075 researchers, academics, students and others interested in cutting edge research in the field of nicotine and tobacco. A key area of focus was tobacco-related health disparities, which is the focus of one of SRNT's seven topical networks. The network hosted a pre-conference workshop and provided travel scholarships to students and graduate students doing work in this area. Two of those students were from California.
