Award Process

The scientific merit of applications is determined by peer review and the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) recommends applications for funding based on the scientific merit scores assigned by the peer reviewers together with their judgment of the degree to which proposals are responsive to TRDRP’s mission and research priorities. A Call for Applications is issued every year in late summer-early fall.

Grantees are expected to account for the expenditure of grant funds and for the performance of work as agreed upon in a timely manner and to abide by TRDRP’s policies regarding scientific misconduct and conflict of interest.
